Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrantcommunity on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Waste Cleansing and Public Safety department is seeking a Coordinator Plant and Fleet Assets to join the team.

Purpose:

This position will coordinate plant and fleet assets policy and strategy for Council. You will coordinate the management of all facets of acquisition disposal registration servicing repairs and insurance processes for Councils fleet ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.

About the role:

  • You will implement effective plant and fleet management systems that ensure Council meets industry best practice standards.
  • You will ensure planned maintenance and repairs are in accordance with agreed service levels and ensure maintenance agreements are achieved.
  • Report monitor and make appropriate recommendations to ensure that agreed service levels are achieved.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience and technical competency in the delivery of fleet management systems in a diverse environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • High level experience in computer databases such as Microsoft Office and knowledge of fleet software packages and asset management information systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise staff and the operations of the team.
