Job Summary:
A global commercial refrigerator manufacturer located in Grand Prairie TX is currently seeking a Machine Operator for their 1st shift. This is a temptoperm position that offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team full time based on performance.
In this position you will be operating a press brake machine to shape multiple types of metal primarily sheet metal. To do so the operators load pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening aligning and positioning the material to achieve specific shapes.
Responsibilities:
- Bilingual Speak and understand English (for safety reasons)
- Willing to learn
- Reliable Transportation
- Lift more than 40lbs
- Prepare the machines before production
- Perform test runs
- If necessary adjust and make minor repairs to the machinery before and during operation.
- Take care of all machinespecific functions such as configuring the equipment loading and operating the machines and optimizing the machine capability
Requirements and skills:
- Press brake machine experience
- Panel bending
- 1 year of experience preferably
- Required to know how to read blueprints
- Ability to work on their feet (due to standing during working hours)
- Lifting and moving objects
- Follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good timeline/ work history
Starting Hourly Pay: $17.50
Days: MondayFriday
1st Shift 7A.M. to 5:30P.M.
