Job Description: OnSite Service Technician
Position: OnSite Service Technician
Location: Bharuch
Department: Service & Maintenance
Experience: 13 years (Freshers with relevant skills can apply)
Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Mechanical Electronics or related field
Employment Type: FullTime
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive OnSite Service Technician to perform installation maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have handson experience in mechanical/electrical servicing the ability to diagnose technical issues and a commitment to providing excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite installation maintenance and repair of equipment as per company standards.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering and service teams to report and resolve technical problems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports after each service visit.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Travel to various customer sites as required for servicing and repairs.
- Ensure proper handling of tools spare parts and service equipment.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits mechanical components and troubleshooting methods.
- Handson experience in using diagnostic tools and repair instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings manuals and schematics.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customerhandling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as per job requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in servicing industrial machinery solar equipment or robotics will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of PLC sensors and automation systems is a plus.
