About our opportunity:
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator we have an opportunity for proactive and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Rowville.
Responsibilities include:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site. Including the servicing and repair of bulk storage production processing and packaging areas covering the entire manufacturing process and all main facilities.
- Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes.
- Performing scheduled and adhoc safety checks.
- Strong focus on safety and safe working methods including JSAs Risk Assessments LOTO and permits to work.
- Monitoring and contributing to developing new maintenance schedules for equipment plant and other relevant data to identify faults and take action as necessary;
- Assisting in the development and training of employees as required.
About You:
- Formal trade qualification Fitter
- Knowledge of Tetrapak A3 Flex Compactflex and TBA8 is highly desirable
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Knowledge of GMP within the food industry
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Experience in TIG welding is desirable but not essential
