Position Summary:
At Grand Canyon Resort Corporation exceptional customer service is paramount and the reliable operation of our IT systems is crucial. We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to provide outstanding support to our staff and guests regarding computer systems hardware and software. This technician will assist users remotely and in person guiding them through system configuration and troubleshooting with a focus on efficient issue resolution. A passion for customer service combined with strong problemsolving and communication skills is essential for success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond to tech inquiries via email through online chats over the phone or in person
Inform customers about IT products and services
Walk customers stepbystep through the problemsolving process
Help with troubleshooting hardware and software
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service
Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software
Ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear stepbystep instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
Qualifications:
Patient friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Passion for problemsolving and customer service
Tech savvy with experience working in a techrelated field
Teamoriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback
Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems
Experience working as an IT help desk technician or in a similar customer support role
Working Conditions:
Work will generally be performed using computer equipment in an indoor office environment. Setup or maintenance of some peripheral equipment may require work in areas such as data rooms or wiring closets with restricted room for movement. May be required to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. May be required to climb to reach equipment in inaccessible locations.
Applicant must pass a preemployment drug screen and extensive background check may be required. However preference may be given to persons of Indian decent in accordance with Public law 88353 Sectionand Public Law 93638 Section 7B
Grand Canyon Resort Corporation (GCRC) is whollyowned by the Hualapai Tribe and is located in Peach Springs Arizona. In 1988 the Hualapai People who have been part of this land since time immemorial established GCRC welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area. The year 1883 is when the reservation was established and occupiers are usually foreign to the land they occupy. To further increase tourism in the area the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass horseshoeshaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West suspending them 4000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.
