Job Description
Responsibilities include: Updating a course syllabus (sample syllabi and course materials are available). Presenting instruction aligned with the student learning outcomes of the course. Preparing student assignments that assess the learning outcomes Meeting during all designated class periods. Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner. Submitting midsemester progress reports and final grades by University deadlines. Following guidelines for delivery of the course under university protocols as outlined in the faculty and employee handbooks and the UNE Onward Plan ( masters degree in physics or a related field is required; candidates with a Ph.D. or college teaching experience are preferred.
