Your Role
Were looking for a Maintenance Lead for our B&D Garage Doors business based at our Clontarf manufacturing facility who is engaging and dynamic with a passion for maintenance and project engineering. As a member of our team youll have the ownership and support you need to succeed both from your leaders and your colleagues.
This role will be wellsuited to someone with a reliability or project engineering background looking to step into their first leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance strategy across the Clontarf site
- Perform project works upgrading machinery installing new machinery and heavy involvement with CI projects sitewide
- Lead a small team of mechanical and electrical trades
- Accountable for the reliability of production assets across site
- Oversee Lean activities to improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (OEE) with a structured approached to increase Quality Availability and Performance

Skills & Experience
- Problemsolving abilities both handson and theoretical
- Experience in managing small teams to achieve best outcomes
- Ability to manage projects to a timeline though no specific project management software experience is required
- Trade or engineering qualification is required
- For electricians a Queensland electrical licence is necessary
- For engineers a degree qualification is required with a preference for Engineers Australia membership
- Manufacturing or similar industry experience is preferred but not required
- Specialized skills in hydraulics or roll former are desirable but not mandatory
