Due to the continued workload and growth opportunities in Western Australia we are currently looking foranEngineering Geologistwithan understanding of local geologyandwithgeotechnicalsite investigationexperiencefortransportation Defence mining renewable energyand marine infrastructureto joinour team.Theexperience andknowledgeyou bringwill be well regarded and you will play a crucial role in thedelivery ofa variety of highprofile infrastructure projects.Specifically you will:
Undertake geologicalandgeomorphologicalsite assessmentsand provide geotechnical recommendations based on these
Plan coordinate and managesite investigationsand contributetothedelivery ofhigh quality ontimegeotechnicalinvestigationreports
Preparehealth and safety documentation for site inspections and geotechnical investigations
Prepareground models with3Dgeological modelling software
Assist withrecommendations fordesign of foundations slopes earthworks and other geotechnicalstructures
Work closely with ournetwork ofsenior professionalseminent engineersand experienced drafterstoshare your knowledge andbroaden your skillset
Actively contribute to and be a pivotal component of our high performing friendly and collaborative culture
Actively contribute to our Ground and Underground Engineeringdiscipline on a range oflocal and international digital and other strategy initiatives.
Soundunderstanding of Western Australian geologywith the ability to undertake detailedsitegeologicalreconnaissance andmapping
Experience in the planning management and undertakingof geotechnicalsite investigations; experience logging soils and rocks to AS 1726:2017
A tertiary qualification inengineering geology or civil/geotechnicalengineering
A strong personal commitment to Health and Safety in geotechnical projects andstrictadherence to HSE procedures;
A passion to deliver a variety of highquality projects in a collaborative team environment
Highly developed communications skills and an ability to manage relationships with colleagues clients and other project stakeholders.
