POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for ensuring all projects and associates working under their leadership deliver on time on budget and within scope. The Sr. PM is a recognized technical authority in the areas of Material Handling Systems (MHS) Control Systems and Warehouse Management. They will be responsible for delegating tasks as well as personally developing delivering and leading discussions pertaining to reports for both Fortna management and client leadership. Experience needs to include a broad understanding of project management understanding and showcasing judgment to plan and accomplish organizational goals.

Education:
Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or 13 years of work experience in one of the following disciplines: industrial mechanical or civil engineering; industrial or construction management.
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

WORKING CONDITIONS: When working inoffice there may be periods of sitting at a desk and viewing a computer screen for extended periods of time. The ability to speak and clearly hear inperson and by telephone; use of hands to handle feel or operate standard office equipment; and ability to reach with hands and arms. Associates are frequently required to walk and stand. The noise levels in this work environment are usually quiet. In adherence to ADA reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
When traveling to client sites essential requirements may involve a physical presence in various environments and locations. Physical stamina may be required for prolonged standing bending stooping and/or working in cramped quarters. Exposure to potentially dangerous tools and equipment amidst a variety of building materials is probable as is occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can vary from being relatively quiet to moderate to excessive. Safety shoes or boots may be required in certain situations. Additional safety clothing including gloves hardhats and devices to protect eyes mouth or hearing will be worn as necessary.
The base salary range for this role is $115900 to $173800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location level jobrelated knowledge skills experience and performance.
