Description of the role:
Ford of Harvey is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Manager to join our team. As an Automotive Service Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of our service department ensuring excellent customer service maintaining quality standards and maximizing profitability. This role requires strong leadership exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of automotive service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and lead the service department providing guidance and supervision to technicians service advisors and other staff
- Ensure efficient workflow and prioritize service requests to meet customer needs and service timelines
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues addressing customer concerns and providing exceptional service
- Monitor and control costs including labor parts and inventory to maximize profitability
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to improve efficiency quality and customer experience
- Stay uptodate with industry trends new technologies and best practices in automotive service management
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive service management or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proven customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Knowledge of automotive systems repairs and maintenance procedures
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to automotive service management
