Parts Trainee

This position offers growth potential!! Compensation starts at $15/hr with opportunities for advancement as other parts positions open up.
Job Duties:
- Check in stock order and specialorder parts daily ensuring quantities and billing are accurate
- Prepare and ship online parts to guests and vendors
- Assist guests in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations regarding part selection compatibility and installation procedures
- Process returns exchanges and warranty claims for defective incorrect parts
- Handle cash credit card transactions and other forms of payment accurately
- Collaborate with other parts department staff sales associates and service staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid drivers license
- High school diploma required
- Strong work ethic
- Able to speak read and write the English language fluently
- Able to work Saturdays 7am2pm)
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in automotive parts
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems
- Proficient in dealership management software CRM systems and other automotive software applications
- Guest focused mindset with a commitment to delivery exceptional service and building longterm customer relationships
