Job Description
Surgical Science is the leading supplier of medical training simulators for surgery and imaging. Our training systems are used by medical training centers and institutions worldwide for practice validation and certification of students surgeons and medical doctors.
About the Organization
Surgical Science is a simulation company supplying virtual reality simulators and standalone software for medical training to hospitals as well as to the medical device industry. The headquarters are in Gothenburg with additional offices in Stockholm Tel Aviv China Cleveland and Seattle.
The virtual reality simulators are used by medical training centers and institutes worldwide for practice validation and certification of students surgeons and medical doctors. Projects are also run with industrial partners in MedTech for example to supply software for brandspecific robotic surgery training.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary:
Surgical Science brings worldclass simulators to physicians across the globe. We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Customer Support team. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistical procedures to ensure efficient and costeffective operations. You will monitor shipments costs timelines and productivity ensuring that our logistics processes run smoothly and meet our high standards.
As a Logistics Coordinator you will be the primary point of contact for customer queries related to deliveries providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and accurate responses. You will work closely with product managers sales teams and customer service representatives to develop and implement logistics plans that support our North American operations.
Your understanding of our products personnel roles and events will be crucial in assembling effective logistics plans. You will apply this knowledge to coordinate with various departments ensuring that all logistical needs are met and that our operations are aligned with company goals.
Salary will commensurate based on experience and the meeting of applicable qualifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
- Monitoring shipments costs timelines and productivity.
- Answering customer queries and coordinating customer deliveries.
- Understanding company products personnel roles and events to best assemble a plan to support all our North American logistics.
- Applying this understanding by working with product managers sales and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with logistics preferred.
- Careful attention to details.
- Customer Service Orientation.
- Ability to manage many projects at one time.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Computer skills including MS Office products.
- Exhibit/event industry knowledge.
- Planning prioritizing and organizing.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
