Global Parts Supply and Distribution is responsible for the supply of spare parts and distribution activities including purchasing inventory management manufacturing workshop and the distribution of spare parts worldwide. Within Europe these functions are managed directly by Global Parts; outside Europe Global Parts provides the centers that are part of the relevant regional or country organization with consultancy coordination and support.
Parts Supply is part of the Global Parts Supply Distribution Network and has global responsibility for supplies of Konecranes and Demag spare parts in close collaboration with local sales and service branches.
Global Parts Supply & Distributions Operations is looking for a Sourcing Specialist (m/f/x). You will be part of the Global Parts sourcing team with responsibility for defined product categories and suppliers.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in sourcing
- Managing the supplier base written contracts purchase prices and delivery times as required by the business
- Taking part in negotiations on pricing quantities and delivery schedules
- Drafting and concluding contracts with suppliers
- Managing supplier performance with the help of suitable KPIs
- Supplier manager for nominated suppliers
- Cooperating closely with Materials Management and global procurement to secure the best suppliers for the spare parts business
What we expect from you:
Professional:
- Training as an industrial clerk or comparable training
- Ideally a bachelors degree in business administration or economics with a focus on procurement
- More than three years experience of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
- Experience of spare parts business is an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP and Excel in relation to data analysis
- Fluent German and English

- Able to pursue various purchasing projects and tasks on own initiative
- Intercultural competence
- Able to select suppliers in accordance with business requirements
- Good communication skills assertiveness and flexibility
- Awareness of total cost of ownership and customer needs
