APRA AMCOS is a memberowned music rights management organisation positioned at the intersection of music data and technology. We have more than 124000 members who are songwriters composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play perform copy or record our members music and we distribute the royalties to our members.
We have a permanent fulltime opportunity to join the Media Licensing team in Sydney. The Business Development Representative role is responsible for researching identifying and securing new digital partnership opportunities. The role drives revenue growth within the digital licensing team and ensure comprehensive licensing across the Australian and New Zealand digital landscape.
In this role you will:
- Research and identify new digital licensing opportunities
- Undertake compliance checks on current and potential digital clients to ensure accurate licensing
- Negotiate and secure new digital licence agreements
- Assist Manager Digital Licensing and Business Development Digital Licensing in new business strategy and implementation
- Be a key contact for external digital licensing enquiries including monitoring and responding to enquiries via the digital inbox and customer service team
Our ideal candidate has:
- Ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial matters and negotiations
- Ability to manage priorities and work to timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication
