The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the development
implementation and evaluation of WERC projects and programs.
Project Development
Guide project work plans
Engage and collaborate with external stakeholders (employer partners educational agencies community based organizations) and internal staff (project managers curriculum developers instructors and case managers) in the development of projects
Assist program Director in the development of project plans including developing project goals and objectives scope and expectations roles and responsibilities and an evaluation framework
Project Implementation
Build and maintain relationships with project participants during all phases of the project and when necessary provide direct service to participants
Take the lead in maintaining ongoing communication with external stakeholders and agencies
Develop systems and workflows to ensure that all project information and activity is appropriately collected and completed
Create and use appropriate tools to monitor project progress
Adjust project activities as needed based off lessons learned to continually refine processes and improve outcomes
Project Evaluation
Ensure project goals and deliverables are met within budget and meet high quality standards
Prepare and present project reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Education and Experience
Relevant degree in a related field and/or prior experience planning and managing projects
Excellent analytical and organizational skills strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical requirements
