This significant enhancement will allow us to provide even more specialized and comprehensive care to our critically ill surgical patients. The new SICU will be equipped with the latest medical technology and designed to create a healing environment that supports both patients and their families. This expansion underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare and improving patient outcomes. The Patient Care Coordinator will provide daily shifttoshift leadership to support the operations of this exciting fastpaced medical/surgical ICU environment that is ideal for those seeking to care for the highest acuity of patients. As the Patient Care Coordinator you will exhibit excellence in clinical patient care customer service critical thinking schedule management relationship competencies and organizational skills. You will have the authority and autonomy to ensure the appropriate clinical and customer satisfaction outcomes are met while effectively leading your team.The Patient Care Coordinator will work collaboratively with great leadership in this 24bed unit to care for the south sides sickest patients.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice care the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration delegation negotiation and management of resources.
Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN) Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing or three years of related professional nursing experience.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
ICU experience required.
Excellent communication skills.

Selfdirected.
EPIC experience is a plus.
