UnityPoint Clinic is a physicianled nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care walkin care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the areas clinics are improving outcomes lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and wellbeing.
- Established practice serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities
- Experienced staff both clinical and nonclinical who know the patients extremelywell
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- Clinic Open: MondayFriday 8:00am5:00pm
- In office testing: breath test andcapsule endoscopy
- Procedures performed in Hospital: UGI endoscopy Colonoscopy ERCP with interventions (i.e. Sphincterotomy stone removal stent replacement etc. and EGD with Bravo
- Call obligation 10 days per month
- Evaluates interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Patientfocused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problemsolving skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1B cap exempt)
- J1 waiver sponsorship available
