Job Description
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High School graduate or GED
- Possess a valid drivers license and safe driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (Required)
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time while driving
- Requires frequent bending climbing movement and lifting of up to 75 pounds during physical loading/unloading of trucks
- Should not have any lifting restrictions
- Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions
Responsibilities
- Operating company vehicle to make pickups and deliveries.
- Help with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Complete pre and posttrip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
- Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes.
- Refuel vehicles and ensure theyre always ready for use.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
- Drives a Company vehicle in a safe courteous and responsible manner
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts as well as an office environment.
- Second shift 6:30 pm 6:30 am
