About the Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint a Vocational Teacher as we develop the Vocational Curriculum and offer for pupils at Stansfield Academy. We are looking for applicants who may have a wide range of experience in delivery/curriculum construction of a variety of vocationally based subjects at BTEC level. This could include and is not limited to: Construction Hair and Beauty Child Care and Development Health and Social care Public Services Animal Care etc. You will be responsible for delivering specialised instruction in the particular trade or technical field guiding students through both theoretical and practical elements of the subject. Your role will involve developing curriculum teaching classes assessing student performance and staying uptodate with industry advancements to ensure your instruction remains relevant.
Our ideal candidate will also have excellent teamwork and communication skills boundless patience and resilience and the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference with pupils who have a range of social emotional and mental health needs.

About the Academy
Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision setting providing full time education for children from 416 years of age.
Catchment includes Central Devon including Exeter East Devon and Mid Devon working closely with Devon County Council to ensure a swift transition both into and out of the Academy to minimise the impact on pupils learning.
