Job Description:
As the Treasurer your duties include the following:
Manage cash and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds for payout partners and internal verticals
Assist in preparing short medium and longterm cash flow forecasts for payout partners identifying potential funding gaps
Help manage surplus cash flows to maximize returns while minimizing associated risks
Analyze financial and operational risks to understand their nature and potential impact
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and payout partners
Support the Treasury Manager in implementing and monitoring financial risk management strategies
Oversee the administration of all treasury accounts with external providers and partners
Gain a comprehensive understanding of related processes and the interdependencies between teams with a broad grasp of the underlying data structures
Assist the Treasury Manager in generating detailed financial reports
Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive and detective policies procedures controls and user guides
Collaborate effectively as a team player ensuring team goals are met through strong cooperation
Utilize strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address issues and challenges
Demonstrate excellent personal time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with senior management and other stakeholders
Attend new product launch meetings prepare minutes for treasuryrelated discussions and ensure they are submitted to the Treasury Manager in a timely manner
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience performing the treasury function
Advanced Excel Skills
Qualification:
Completed BCom degree
SAICA articles would be advantageous
