Position Summary
Professor Juana Mendenhall seeks a postdoctoral fellow in the chemistry program to study the effect of oxidative stress on biomaterials used in tissue engineering. Interested applicants must submit their application materials (cover letter and curriculum vitae) for consideration for a oneyear renewable postdoctoral position. The National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow will conduct and manage research projects for multiscale 3D tissue engineering 3D scaffold characterization understanding the cell biology in 3D cell culture upon exposure to oxidative stress and external stimuli. They will directly support and mentor tissue engineering research projects while being mentored by Professor Mendenhall and faculty at Cornell University in the biomedical engineering department.
