Description
Position Summary:
The Career Pathways Navigator ensures the ESNS Career Pathways program offers highquality counseling leading to increased economic selfsufficiency to participants reflecting ESNSs mission and values. The Career Pathways Navigator provides direct services that may include career counseling employment readiness training and case coordination along with data management and program administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide participant assistance with finding and succeeding in career training
- Help connect participants to job opportunities with business partners
- Conduct professional development workshops and trainings
- Maintain regular contact and build strong relationships with participants to support their career goals
- Monitor case files for compliance with contract obligations
- Work with Program Manager and Employment staff to further develop opportunities in the Career Pathways Program
- Perform data entry and maintenance tasks to ensure timely accurate and complete records in the Workforce One database.
- Provide assistance to the Employment Program team in utilizing data systems and tools effectively.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or two years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Professional courteous and tactful written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain regular contact and build relationships with participants and program partners
- Exceptional attention to detail accuracy and thoroughness and ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues
- Experience leading trainings helpful but not required
- Experience in nonprofit employment services preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of working on a computer
