Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator experienced in loading heavy loads on and off flatbed trailers. The ideal candidate should have strong forklift operation skills and a focus on safety. If you have a proven track record in this area we encourage you to apply.
We are looking for Forklift Operators for our warehouse located in Amherst NH.
Schedule Monday Friday 10:00am 6:30pm full benefits after 60 days paid holidays!
Pay starts at $20 hour
Forklift Operator will be responsible for:
Effectively perform all essential functions including physical requirements
Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight.
Experience with operating a forklift with a rate rating of 6500 pounds.
Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and companyapproved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
Basic math interpersonal/team and reasoning skills
Ability to read understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Flexibility in scheduling able to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
Experience operating a forklift primarily with product weights of 2500 lbs. or more.
Prior experience lifting wide loads as long as 18 feet.
Minimum one year of experience operating a forklift.
High School Diploma or GED
