Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Java Selenium API Automation DB Testing
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant to join our team specializing in Java Selenium API Automation and Database (DB) Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing automated tests managing automation frameworks and leading teams to deliver highquality software solutions. As a Lead Consultant you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements design effective testing strategies and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the design development and maintenance of reusable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium to ensure effective functional and regression testing.
Create and execute automated tests for APIs utilizing tools like RestAssured Postman or SoapUI to validate API functionality performance and integration with other services.
Write and run complex SQL queries to perform database validation and ensure data integrity consistency and correctness in both frontend and backend systems.
Provide technical leadership guiding and mentoring junior team members to improve their automation testing skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure seamless continuous testing and delivery.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies focusing on functional integration regression and performance testing to meet project requirements.
Generate detailed test reports tracking defects and documenting test results and providing valuable insights to stakeholders for further improvements.
Continuously evaluate and improve the test automation process adopting new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience in Java programming and developing Seleniumbased automation frameworks.
Expertise in API automation with handson experience using tools like Postman SoapUI RestAssured or JMeter.
Proficiency in Database Testing including writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
Preferred qualifications
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Leadership experience including leading teams managing projects and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. ISTQB certifications) are a plus.
