The Opportunity

This role reports to the Head of Research Lab and is part of the Business Technology department. The Quantitative Systems Engineer will focus on AIdriven automation scalable data infrastructure and technology support for traders portfolio managers and research teams. AI is the top priority followed by data management and support functions to enhance system efficiency.

This is a fastpaced agile environment with a startuplike approachless structured focused on rapid experimentation iteration and handson problemsolving. Role Responsibilities

• Develop AI & Automation Solutions Implement AI/LLMdriven tools and AI agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain OpenAI AutoGPT) to enhance data processing reporting and operational efficiency
• Build & Maintain Data Infrastructure Design and optimize data pipelines to support investment teams across Fixed Income Credit and Equity
• Provide Data & Technology Support Act as a resource for traders quants and investment professionals troubleshooting and improving data processes
• Optimize Financial Data Workflows Ensure structured highquality data is accessible for research trading and risk teams
• Experiment & Iterate Rapidly Embrace an agile mindset quickly testing and refining solutions with direct feedback from investment teams
• Collaborate with Investment & Technology Teams Work closely with researchers portfolio managers and developers to align data and tech solutions with business needs
• Enhance Data Reliability & Performance Continuously refine data models APIs and workflows to improve efficiency

Desired Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data engineering investment technology or quantitative systems
• Background in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field
• Understanding of both technology and finance with experience working in investment management or trading environments preferred
• Experience in fastpaced agile environmentscomfortable with rapid experimentation iteration and problemsolving
• Proficiency in Python SQL and cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines database optimization and automation
• Familiarity with financial data sources (Bloomberg FactSet MSCI etc.
• Experience or interest in AI agent frameworks (LangChain OpenAI AutoGPT etc.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (OpenAI LangChain TensorFlow etc. is a plus
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA is a strong plus but not required
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to support investment professionals with data and technology needs
