Job Description

Purpose of Job:

The EHS Intern will support the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team by assisting with data collection analysis and reporting to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This role will provide handson experience in auditing environmental systems identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with operations to address corrective actions. Additionally the intern will work closely with the EHS Manager to support environmental projects and regulatory compliance efforts while also contributing to workplace safety and health initiatives. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical expertise in EHS practices and gain practical experience in a corporate or industrial setting.

Dimensions of Job:
  • Actively seeking B.S. in Environmental Studies Chemistry Engineering or a related field.
  • Assist with gathering data analyze it compile it and complete all required environmental reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist with auditing environmental systems and work with operations to address and remediate action items.
  • Work with EHS Manager to provide technical support for environmental projects and determination of regulatory applicability.
  • Support efforts in the safety and health areas as a member of the EHS team.
