This role requires handson experience in a fastpaced factory environment with a strong emphasis on quality control process optimization and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and refining operational processes to enhance efficiency ensure highquality production and drive improvements across the assembly line. Responsibilities - Develop strategies for improving line efficiency workstation layouts and fixture placement for optimal component assembly.
- Conduct quality control checks on the assembly line ensuring products meet the established standards from the start of production.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations reduce waste and enhance manufacturing processes to improve productivity and product quality.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of assembly fixtures and equipment ensuring all tools are in optimal working order and strategically placed to enhance workflow.
- Work closely with product development engineering and quality control teams to ensure products meet design specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Continuously monitor production processes and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and ensure production goals are consistently met.
Skills & Requirements - 10 years of handson experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on assembly line operations fixture setup and quality control.
- Proven experience designing and improving assembly lines including workstation layouts and fixture placement.
- Deep understanding of assembly line processes and manufacturing systems with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues on the factory floor.
- Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and tools.
- Experience with Chinese manufacturers is required; Chinesespeaking is a plus.
