Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Sciences Teacher with the ability to inspire students in Psychology Sociology and Health & Social Care (HSC) This Outstandingschool in Walsall is seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Sciences Teacher to join their thriving department starting September 2025.

About the Social Sciences Department

The Social Sciences Departmentis a forwardthinking and collaborative team dedicated to helping students develop a strong understanding of Psychology Sociology and Health & Social Care. With consistently excellent results the department prides itself on its supportive and innovative teaching practices. The successful candidate will join a passionate team committed to delivering highquality education and encouraging students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Psychology Sociology and Health & Social Care to KS4 and KS5
  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum content.
  • Regular assessment and grading of student work.
  • Provide pastoral care and form tutor responsibilities.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Psychology Sociology Health & Social Care or a related field.
  • PGCE or QTS qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching Social Sciences at KS4/KS5.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
