About the Role
An Independent school in Barnet requires a dedicated History Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary position working 4 days per week. You will deliver engaging history lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a passionate History Teacher seeking a flexible work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
- Develop students understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of history resources.
- Potentially lead historyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History.
- Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility to work within a 4day week schedule.
