Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a leading preparatory school in Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a pupil providing tailored support to enhance their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Foster a nurturing inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on the pupils progress adapting support as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
  • Skills: Patient adaptable and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
  • Commitment: Passion for promoting the wellbeing and development of every pupil.
