About the Role
An Independent school in Brent requires a talented Music Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. You will deliver inspiring music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Music Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons focusing on performance composition and music theory.
- Prepare students for assessments and performances.
- Develop students musical skills and appreciation.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources.
- Organise and potentially lead musicrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
- Proven experience teaching music at secondary level.
- Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
