Custodian

Seeking Custodians for Manufacturing facility Indianapolis IN.

Overview:

• $17.75/hour

Shifts:

• 1st shift TuesdaySaturday
• 1st shift SundayThursday

Badging for these sites does require either an official US birth certificate with raised seal or US Passport.

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors shampooing rugs washing walls and glass and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eightstep cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls windows furniture baseboards and other items to maintain a clean safe environment for patients visitors and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. I don't want there to be any surprises. Task include but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation
• Etc.
