Job Description
As a Cable Technician II you will:
- Install maintain and repair voice and data communication systems ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze and maintain telecommunications and network cabling including fiber optic and CAT6 infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced testing equipment to diagnose and resolve cabling issues efficiently.
- Adhere to BICSI standards ensuring quality workmanship and best practices.
- Manage cable inventory maintain organization and provide effective communication and customer support.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education technical training or work experience.
- 3 years of related telecommunications experience
- 3 years of experience working as a Cable Technician within the DoD environment
- Related certifications for Fiber Optic Cable and CAT6 Cable installation.
