Job Description
What you will be doing:
Support trial attorneys with personal injury cases in State and Federal Courts.
Prepare general legal correspondence motions and objections.
Assist with discovery and document management.
Serve and file legal papers in various courts ensuring familiarity with electronic filing systems.
Utilize communication skills via email and phone with clients court staff and opposing counsel.
Organize case files for attorneys to use at court hearings.
Experience you will need:
13 years of experience in a law firm.
Management of personal injury files.
Experience with contacting claims adjusters.
Experience with requesting reviewing and organizing medical records.
Preparation of medical evidence for trial.
Experience with scheduling permanent impairment evaluations.
Knowledge of Court Rules and all discovery deadlines.
Excellent administrative skills with the ability to multitask under pressure and prioritize.
Attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Outlook Excel Adobe and NetDocuments.
