Cryptographer

• Research design analyse and implement advanced cryptographic algorithms and protocols
  
• Evaluate current security measures and recommend improvements
  
• Perform cryptanalysis to identify vulnerabilities in existing systems
  
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate cryptographic solutions
  
• Stay current with cryptographic research and emerging threats
  
• Develop technical documentation and security specifications
  
• Contribute to security audits and compliance efforts
  
• Understanding of data masking techniques.
  
• Provide technical guidance in the deployment of data masking technology.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of a BSc in Mathematics Computer Science or an engineering discipline
  
• A master s degree in any of the aforementioned disciplines is an added advantage
  
• Relevant professional certifications from a reputable professional institution
  
• 4 6 years of experience in cryptography and information security
  
• Knowledge of secure hardware elements and trusted environments
  
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and smart contracts
  
• Experience with security certifications (FIPS Common Criteria)
  
• Strong understanding of modern cryptographic algorithms and protocols
  
• Experience implementing encryption authentication and key management systems
  
• Knowledge of common cryptographic attacks and countermeasures
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C Python Java)
  
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical thinking skills
