Job Description
Summary:
Industrial Electrician. Servicing a broad range of industrial work/clients that include design commissioning and installation to repair and maintain electrical systems and attend emergency breakdown of equipment and machinery. Must have industrial experience. Must want to work locally and join a harmonious supportive team. Responsibilities:
- Practice and adhere to safety protocols and SWMS
- Install and maintain electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Inspect and test electrical systems
- Collaborate with other tradespersons and enjoy teamwork
- Comply with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and fault find electrical problems
- Provide cost estimates
- Document and maintain electrical records
Criteria:
- Qualified Qld Electrician (Instrumentation qualified highly desirable)
- Physical ability to work in tight spaces and at heights
- Concise communication analytical and problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of Australian federal state and local safety codes
- Prior Experience in electrical installation repair and maintenance
- Exposure to engineering/design or ability to develop desirable
- Exposure to Hydrogen/Waste Water/Food Manufacturing/Industrial Manufacturing/Switchboards/Lifts/Travellators/Hazardous Areas/Engineering highly desirable
