Position Overview:

The SF Underwriting BTO is responsible for technology strategy delivery and ongoing support for Freddie Macs Underwriting applications and services. Our focus is on continuing the mission to transform our systems and processes into resilient efficient and flexible platforms by adopting innovative cloudnative solutions to support industry needs and aligning with our corporate mandates and data strategy!
Your Impact:
Acts as thought partner with the other Dev Managers Chief Dev Lead and Dev Leads to ensure interteam technical coordination both within and across trains
Working with Chief Product Owner Product Owners and other partners to help ensure strategy and alignment
Propose new innovative ideas at ARTlevel and supports teams in doing so at teamlevel to improve release management processes; shows willingness and curiosity to different ideas
Work with Systems Teams Infrastructure and other Operations Leadership to ensure software development and production meet program delivery requirements
Encourage and support the personal development of each individual and the development of teams
Work with the team to understand the major difficulties. Come up with a set of guidelines to improve the programs performance
Rollout the Automated test strategy/deployment strategy for the program to optimize delivery
Empower teams to own problemsolving while providing crossteam support
Think beyond daytoday activities; apply systems thinking support the teams commitments
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience with product development and ownership
Ability to coach and lead direct reports as well as collaborators and matrixed teams
Strong ability to gain alignment and motivate team members to engage in making the vision a reality
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to problem tackle and drive innovation within and across teams
Minimum of 6 years of fulltime experience in Agile
Must have experience in organizing directing and managing activities related to building and maintaining software releases for their promotion to the production environment
Must have strong program and project management skills and excellent presentation and communication skills
Good understanding of Agile Metrics and how to measure continuous improvement
6 years of experience in technical leadership role driving the technical roadmap strategy and delivery of complete initiatives
10 total years of related IT experience and 3 years of people management experience
Bachelors Degree in an IT related area

Innovation and Standards: Developing new concepts and strategies to elevate testing standards and processes fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
CrossFunctional Coordination: Leading the DevOps product teams ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and enhancing collaboration across different functions.

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $134000 $200000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Required Experience:
