Position Overview:
Were looking for a gogetter B2B Social Media Lead whos not just a strategist but also a handson executor. You will be expected to hustle build networks and actively engage with key stakeholders in realtime to drive business growth. The focus will be on growing our business network driving meaningful B2B engagement and maximizing lead generation through social media channels. If youre the type of person who thrives on making connections fostering relationships and creating realtime engagement this is the role for you. Experience working with or within Chambers of Commerce will be an added advantage to successfully building and managing a network of business professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Hustle:
Lead and execute a handson social media strategy focused on B2B networking engagement and driving growth through platforms like LinkedIn Twitter and industryspecific forums.
Actively participate in industryrelated discussions communities and groups making connections with potential clients partners and industry influencers.
Engage in realtime networking connecting with decisionmakers business owners and other professionals to promote our offerings generate leads and build longterm relationships.
Networking and Relationship Building:
Build and maintain a robust network of contacts within our target industries leveraging social media platforms and industry events to drive business conversations.
Work with the sales team to align social media activities with lead generation strategies ensuring the cultivation of new business opportunities via online channels.
Actively engage with local and global business communities especially through Chambers of Commerce to build the brands presence and open doors for new business connections.
Lead Generation & Subscriber Acquisition:
Implement social media campaigns specifically designed to drive lead generation and attract new subscribers including targeted outreach content and calls to action.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads from social media interactions identifying opportunities and converting them into actionable business results.
Use social media platforms for both inbound and outbound lead generation engaging with prospects and guiding them through the buyers journey.
RealTime Content Creation & Engagement:
Regularly create and share engaging content (e.g. posts articles videos) that speaks directly to our B2B audiences pain points and interests promoting meaningful discussions and connections.
Tailor content and messaging specifically for networking and engagement with B2B decisionmakers influencers and key stakeholders.
Actively participate in conversations webinars and other online events to increase visibility and foster relationships with key industry players.
Event Promotion and Engagement:
Promote and engage with both inperson and virtual events (including industry trade shows Chamber of Commerce events networking meetups etc. through social media channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop eventspecific social media strategies that drive registration participation and engagement.
Leverage social media to generate buzz before and during events facilitating networking opportunities and encouraging interaction with attendees.
Performance Monitoring & RealTime Reporting:
Continuously track measure and report on the performance of social media efforts using analytics tools and KPIs (e.g. engagement rates conversion rates leads generated).
Adjust and optimize strategies based on realtime data ensuring continuous improvement in lead generation and networking activities.
Report on key performance outcomes and provide actionable insights for refining the approach to achieve better results.
Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership:
Build and enhance the companys online presence by sharing thought leadership content engaging with influencers and positioning the company as a key player in the industry.
Actively identify opportunities to feature the company in relevant industry discussions podcasts and thought leadership events.
Build relationships with key partners and industry organizations to expand brand reach and recognition.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field. Relevant certifications in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 57 years of experience in B2B social media management lead generation and networking within a business development environment.
Proven Networking Skills: Experience building and nurturing relationships with business leaders organizations and decisionmakers in B2B industries. Familiarity with Chambers of Commerce or industry networking groups is highly beneficial.
Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn Twitter and other businessfocused social media platforms and tools. Experience using these platforms for networking lead generation and driving business results.
Lead Generation and Growth Focus: Proven track record in generating leads building relationships and driving business growth through social media platforms.
Content Creation & Communication: Strong content creation and communication skills with the ability to create compelling messages that resonate with B2B audiences.
Project Management: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives at once.
Analytical Skills: Strong datadriven mindset with the ability to measure success and pivot strategies based on insights.
Adaptability and Hustle: Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and an eagerness to actively engage with key stakeholders on social platforms.
