Job Description
Responsibilities:
Teaching and interacting with the infants in the Spanish language exposing them to songs finger plays music and dance in Spanish.
Following Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers at all times;
Promoting the physical and emotional development of the infants in Spanish;
Assisting with diaperchanging hygiene and feeding;
Conducting daily supervision of infants activities both indoors and outdoors;
Helping to maintain classroom records cleanliness and orderliness;
Helping to maintain a safe and clean environment inside and outside the classroom in compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers and current policies of the Pineapple School (this includes taking out the trash; proper sanitizing of tables counters bathrooms and toys; and organizing drawers cabinets and shelves);
Interacting with parents on a daily basis regularly reporting positive observations of each infant;
Utilizing Conscious Discipline strategies to promote selfesteem and awareness of others;
Helping to prepare crafts and activities for and participating in special events and celebrations such as Easter and Da de los Muertos;
Helping out in other areas of the Center as needed;
Attending ongoing staff development activities including our evening monthly staff meeting and maintaining required level of training hours.
