Key Responsibilities: 1. Work & Supervision: Lead and supervise the of civil works onsite ensuring they are carried out according to project specifications drawings and schedules. Ensure that the work is executed per the approved design scope of work and project requirements. Monitor the daily construction activities ensuring that quality standards safety protocols and work schedules are strictly followed. Supervise and guide construction teams ensuring the optimal deployment of manpower and machinery based on the quantum of work. Inspect and ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with safety standards IS Codes and environmental regulations. Review technical drawings project orders and item descriptions to ensure proper and resolve discrepancies. 2. Site Management & Coordination: Ensure effective coordination between different teams subcontractors and project stakeholders (client consultant head office). Ensure timely delivery of materials tools and machinery required for smooth of work. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to track progress and resolve any issues or delays promptly. Ensure proper housekeeping onsite to maintain cleanliness and orderliness contributing to a safe working environment. 3. Resource Planning & Deployment: Supervise the deployment of manpower and machinery based on project requirements and work quantum. Monitor the performance of construction workers ensuring that productivity levels meet the required standards. Manage and optimize the use of machinery and equipment ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Review and assess the need for additional resources including manpower machinery and materials to meet project milestones. 4. Project Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of work progress including daily reports progress reports and material consumption records. Create and update work schedules using MS Excel to ensure that work is completed within the specified time frame. Regularly communicate with the client consultant and subcontractors to update them on progress and resolve any technical or issues. Prepare and submit necessary reports to the head office ensuring that project milestones quality and safety standards are met. 5. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the specified quality standards and the relevant IS Codes. Conduct quality checks onsite to verify that the materials used workmanship and construction methods meet the required specifications. Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from quality standards or safety violations. 6. Communication & Coordination with Stakeholders: Establish strong communication lines with the client consultant and subcontractors to address any projectrelated queries or concerns. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on the status of ongoing work challenges and progress. Manage correspondence including official emails with stakeholders to ensure proper documentation of all communications. Foster a positive and professional working relationship with the site team clients consultants and subcontractors. 7. Safety & Risk Management: Ensure the implementation of safety protocols and practices onsite minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections and take corrective measures when safety violations are observed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address any potential hazards promptly. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience as a Lead Civil Site Engineer in civil construction projects including site supervision work and coordination with stakeholders. Educational Qualification: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of IS Codes: Indepth knowledge of IS Codes relevant to civil construction projects and their application to work . AutoCAD: Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing modifying and interpreting technical drawings plans and designs. Work Schedule Preparation: Experience in preparing detailed work schedules using MS Excel and tracking project progress. MS Office Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) for documentation communication and reporting purposes. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients consultants subcontractors and head office teams. Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead supervise and motivate construction teams ensuring high productivity and adherence to timelines. ProblemSolving Skills: Strong problemsolving abilities to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth project . Additional Requirements: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Knowledge of construction project management and scheduling tools. Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Willingness to work onsite in varying weather conditions.
