You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHuman Resources Assistant Benefits Specialist is needed at a North Sacramento established organization. The HR Assistant will be responsible for the recruitment/onboarding process including new hires benefits administration workers comp employee files compliance respond to HR inquiries and providing administrative support.Position starts as a 3035 hour week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage benefits administration and enrollment.
Prepare employee new hire packets.
Assure all personnel files are maintained and in compliance.
Organize and maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements; obtains proper paperwork from new hires;
uploads employee information into HRIS database.
Onboarding new hires including I9 documentation.
Maintain HRIS systems monthly.
Administrator and manage workers comp claims.
Assist training coordinator with administrative tasks.
Collect and process timecards for payroll.
Keep track of vacations and benefits
Facilitating employee relations ensuring a positive work environment
Support the Executive Director and staff with administrative functions.
Other duties as assigned.

Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion at all times.
Ability to meet deadlines and professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.
Highly proficiency in MS Office applications the Internet and HRIS systems.
Knowledge of human resources rules and regulations.
12 years of human resources & related experience
Payrate: $27 $32
Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
