The PaintTrainerreportstothe NationalTraining Managerandbuilds an efficient and productive Technician workforce
byprovidingcomprehensiveskilltrainingand knowledge transfer.Working closelywith field managementtheTrainerteachesskillswhile developing deliveringand enhancing training courses.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities
Use proven methods to demonstrate teach andcoach groups of Technician Traineesinautomotivedent repairpaintand wheelreconditioning techniques
Transfer knowledgeand developtheskillof new employees
Coach pastcoursegraduates who may have technical questions or concerns
Teach appropriate completion of administrative tasks including time sheets and purchase order submissions Paid Time Off requests etc.
Authorweekly progress reports to keep Traineesupervisors uptodate on all things relevant
Maintain operations manuals and ensure use of the most currentinformation
Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of training areas and facilities
Assemble new Technician manuals and wheel kitsas necessary
Order new training aides as needed
Foster and maintain a safe positiveand equitable working environment
Manage inventory pulled for demonstration and practice during classes
Create itemized lists of tools for Technicians receiving a new start up set
ScheduleTrainee transportation to and from facilities and classes
Return phone callsemails etc. within 24 hours
FollowCompany procedurespolicies and protocols
Complete other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Thoroughunderstanding of Dent Wizard business and the organization
Completion ofspecializedtrainingin at least one of the servicecoursesoffered
Knowledge of training processes and procedures
5yearsofexperience infieldreconditioningwork
2yearsofexperience in field training
Excellentdemonstration presentation and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand and walk
Frequently required to stoop kneel crouch bend squat and climb
Vision abilities required include close distance and color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Ability toliftto 45 pounds (light hand tools etc.
Manual dexterity repetitive motion tasks
Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals
Exposure tomoderate noise levels
Respirators must be wornfor paint application and other protective equipment may be required
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and geographic location.
The starting compensation is expected to be:
