Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
- Assists with inventorying reordering pulling restocking rotating inventory and checking the expiration dates of inventory in order to meet departmental needs.
- Inspects working and storage areas and ensures clean and orderly conditions.
- Removes nonfunctional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action.
- Helps maintain data entry of inventory up to date making changes or drafting corresponding paperwork as necessary.
- Ensures supply deliveries are complete and accurate and that the condition of the supplies is acceptable.
- Helps inform Supervisor of equipment repair needs and ensures linen processing and transporting equipment is cleaned maintained tagged and repaired so as not to interrupt linen services.
- Assists with training and orienting new employees to departmental methodologies concepts and folding techniques.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
