Job Description
ATCO Frontec Ltd is seeking a Bakers Helper to join our team at the Eagle Gold Mine in the Yukon. The Bakers Helper is responsible for preparing and packaging all baked goods at site.
Responsibilities:
Meet daily with the Chef discuss menu preparation and production strategy.
Ensure all goods are prepared to the highest standards possible while assisting in the maintaining of cost.
Prepares all Baked Goods for the menu and catered events.
Ensure the correct amount of products is prepared to control waste.
Lead by example with our Safety beliefs.
Excellent customer service skills.
Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as Health and Safety Policies and procedures
Various other duties as assigned by Managers.
Rotation:
28/14 12 hours a day
Wage:
$19.50 per hour
Qualifications:
Must have Food Safe Certificate
5 years experience in a baking environment is considered as asset
Excellent people skills and teamwork skills
Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Works well under pressure
