About the Role:
The Manager ERP & HCM Applications Delivery is responsible for all project and enhancement delivery including team leadership for applications within the BPSS domain. This includes ensuring that all projects and enhancements to applications within adhere to the Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and the Project Delivery Office (PDO) gating process where applicable.
What You Get to Do:
Team Management
- Lead a team of IT professionals in the delivery of all enhancements and projects in accordance with the project management schedule and plan
- Review and approve changes through the Change Advisory Board
- Manage stakeholder relationships with ATCO businesses and vendors
- Collaborate with delivery assurance teams to build staffing plans and project estimates
Governance and Process Design
- Ensure the team maintains and prioritizes the backlog of requests from stakeholders through JIRA
- Work with project managers to deliver projects in line with the project delivery office processes
- Participate in RFP and business case writing through estimations and technical support
- Plan and prioritize sprints in alignment with business analysts
- Attend project steering committees providing decisions and direction based on the technical needs of the project
Delivery and Operations Support
- Stay aware of trends in tickets and releases that will impact the delivery roadmap
- Attend operational standups to stay updated with operational activities
- Oversee project resources and deliverables for functional analysts and tech leads managing resource demands
- Review and approve solution architecture project technical designs and outcomes by reviewing projects at each delivery gate
- Attend project steering committees and approve decision records and change requests related to technology changes
- Review test outcomes and change management documentation
- Ensure all SDLC activities are adhered to
- Manage the delivery roadmap in combination with business unit delivery objectives and roadmap changes
- Maintain knowledge of IT solutions service offerings and emerging technologies
What You Bring:
- Postsecondary degree in IT Finance Business or Human Resources. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- 610 years of system management experience in HCM Finance and Supply Chain systems
- A minimum of four years leading a diverse team of technology professionals
- Handson experience with information systems and technology (both front and backend) including Oracle HCM Finance and Supply Chain modules UKG Unifier and Cornerstone. Similar cloudbased systems may be considered.
- Proven experience working under defined SLAs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technology to nonIT stakeholders in nontechnical language
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Office 365
- Strong analytical technical and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment build collaborative relationships and negotiate with stakeholders
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- ITIL certification or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Prior experience with delivery projects in regulated and/or nonregulated environments an asset
- PMP certification is an asset
