Job Description
Hire Resolves client is looking for a talented and experienced IT Asset Manager to join their team Cape Town WC. The successful candidate join ateam of experienced professionals offering comprehensive assessment of the IT environment which includes a review of licensing agreements cloud infrastructure usage and costs and existing IT assets
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures
Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets
Monitor and track IT asset usage and lifecycle
Ensure compliance with software licenses and vendor agreements
Identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs
Coordinate with IT procurement and finance teams to track asset purchases deployments and retirements
Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance
Provide reports and analysis on asset performance cost savings and risks
Stay current on industry best practices and trends in IT asset management
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field
5 years of experience in IT asset management or related field
Strong knowledge of hardware and software asset management principles and practices
Experience with asset management tools and software
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Certification in IT asset management preferred
