About the Role
We are a leading QSR looking to employ an Aggregator (Research & Sourcing) who will play a key role in building our direct farmer engagement and strategic sourcing capabilities. This opportunity involves in dept market research Frequent travel across Nigeria and cultivating strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable and costeffective supply of agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and establish direct sourcing channels with farmers and agricultural cooperatives.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and price analysis to inform and optimize procurement strategies.
- Undertake regular travel to key agricultural regions to negotiate terms and develop a robust network of suppliers.
- Provide timely and insightful reports on market trends supply chain efficiencies and potential risks.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sourcing activities with overall business objectives.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in agriculture Procurement Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- 45 years of proven experience in research sourcing or supply chain roles preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Demonstrable skills in market analysis negotiation and building strong lasting relationships with suppliers.
- A strong willingness and ability to travel extensively within Nigeria and work directly with agricultural producers.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
