Groupware Specialist Microsoft 365 Support

We are looking for a Groupware Specialistto support our client based in Tallahassee Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.

This is an onsite position. Candidates must be located in or near Tallahassee Florida.

The opportunity

Our client a government agency in Tallahassee FL seeks an Groupware Specialist to support the Enterprise Systems team in managing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment. The role involves configuring supporting monitoring and maintaining an enterprise Microsoft 365 collaboration environment including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and OneDrive. This is a fulltime onsite position with work hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and occasional weekend/oncall responsibilities.

Job duties includes but not limited to:

• Define business requirements for collaboration tools and assist with implementing groupware applications (e.g. Microsoft Exchange Teams SharePoint).
• Configure maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications to ensure system stability and performance.
• Monitor system health apply security updates and perform regular maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership for designing developing and promoting groupware strategies.
• Deploy and manage team collaboration tools document sharing and nextgen messaging clients.
• Work on multiple projects and support requests occasionally acting as a project lead.
• Recommend hardware/software solutions based on business and user needs.

Compensation and Term

This opportunity is for a fulltime ongoing need with contract to hire possibility and pay commensurate with experience up $72000 per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful Groupware Specialist has the following qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related technicalfield.
• 24 years of IT experience with Microsoft 365 Administration Exchange Online and Teams.
• Handson experience with groupware/messaging technologies and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Experience in system analysis troubleshooting and implementation in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects and support activities.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory Intune and Security & Compliance policies in M365.
• Understanding of email security spam filtering and M365 Defender policies.
• Experience integrating thirdparty collaboration tools with Microsoft 365.
