Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory and support services in quantity surveying encompassing contract compilation cost estimation payment verification evaluation and dispute resolution.
- Execute standard quantity surveying tasks while offering expert guidance.
- Generate and formulate cost estimates for contracts and projects.
- Oversee consultants and contractors emphasizing quantity and cost aspects.
- Create assess measure and manage projectrelated documentation.
- Offer insights into necessary adjustments to contracts or projects along with revised budgeting as required.
- Accurately reconcile and predict contract/project expenses.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying (B tech/BSc) is mandatory.
- SACQSP registration as a professional Quantity Surveyor is a prerequisite.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within the building sector and quantity surveying.
- Prior involvement in building or construction projects is highly advantageous.
