Responsibilities
- Develop manage and motivate the Logistics staff to promote maximum utilization of equipment and drivers.
- Provide safe professional service and performance to our CHS Transportations customers
- Promote and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Work directly with CHS product managers to maintain safe and steady supply of product.
- Recommend equipment life cycle and deployment;Maximize equipment utilization and work with CHS Maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance and fleet readiness.
- Evaluate new business with CHS account manager and lead new customer onboarding.
- Routinely analyze operational data to assess profit/loss opportunity.Utilize available reporting tools to identify account margin improvement.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred in Business Systems Engineering Supply Chain Management Logistics Operations Management or related field
- 2 years transportation management (TMS) tool experience including routing dispatch procurement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of equipment including tractors trailers lengths and weights
- Knowledge of product supply chains
- Knowledge ofDOTregulations HAZMAT

Compensation: This includes base wage and may consist of other earnings depending upon position within CHS consisting of bonuses incentives commissions merit pay. This position may be an opportunity for promotion.
